King's Cross to Cambridge is under an hour by train, but only if you're already at King's Cross with your bags, and only if the trains are running. For a hotel in Mayfair, a late finish in the City or a group with luggage, a car that collects you at the door is simpler: one fixed fare and a drive straight up the M11 to your college, hotel, lab or home.
We collect from anywhere in central London: hotels, offices, private addresses, and stations such as King's Cross, St Pancras, Liverpool Street and Euston. Tell us the address or the station and a contact number when you book, and your driver's details come before the journey, so you can call them as you come out.
It's a popular run for visitors who arrive in London first, on the Eurostar into St Pancras, after a conference at ExCeL or a day of meetings, and then need to get to Cambridge without a second journey across town. Engineering works and late-night gaps in the timetable don't affect a car.
The drive is about 1h45 to 2h15 depending on London traffic. The fare is fixed when you book and is per vehicle, not per person, so it often works out well for two or three travelling together. If a London ULEZ or Congestion Charge applies to your journey, it's shown before you book.
Travelling the other way? See Cambridge to London. Flying in instead? See Heathrow, Stansted or London City to Cambridge.
